Street Food Stall Receives Michelin Star

Yep, this really just happened. Chef Chan Hon Meng, a native of Malaysia operating a star in Singapore, was recently awarded a Michelin Star for his street food stall. The chef thought it was a joke, but soon realized that he indeed receive a star. He was invited to a ceremony where he was presented with the prestigious award.

How good is his food? Ask the 100 people who get in line daily to eat it. This is the only street food stall to hold a Michelin Star. Michelin Stars are awarded not based on how fancy a restaurant is, but for the quality of the food. My compliments to the chef!
